Good Reviews Make Poets Cry.

With the book release rocketting towards me, now only four days to go, I have had the pleasure of sending a few signed copies out into the world to find homes on bookshelves new and old, and to my absolute shock and awe have begun to hear such unexpected praise as to render me a shaking teary mess!

I am so touched that people have even taken the time to read WLftC let alone send messages and emails, make phone calls and spread the news to friends and colleagues in praise of the book! My trembling heart is fit to burst with gratitude, and amid all the news and the pressures of our new normal, this project is a glowing lamp in my life and one that I cherish.

I was also extremely honoured to give a copy of With Love to a local teacher this past week, I cannot stress enough how important educators are and how deeply it touched me that this wonderful teacher sought me out at my work place and requested it. I imagine that my life may have been drastically altered had I had a teacher say to me at some point, 'Poetry can be a vocation for you.' I honestly had never realised until my late twenties that one could in fact be a Poet.

I suppose it all has fallen out the way it ought to have, and we have yet to see how our lives fit into the grand scheme. Nevertheless, I am grateful for whatever part this book, and myself, are playing in it now.

Take care my friends.
