We would love to see more snippets of novel manuscripts and plays recieve attention in Litmags, which always looks good to potential agents and editors!

Please note we do not represent potential authors as agents nor can we offer publication to full novels as we are currently an exclusively online magazine.

Please submit no more than 10 pages at a time.

We’re flexible on formatting as long as your formatting is clear and easy to read.

Also, please note if you have special formatting as it sometimes does not display correctly in Word. This way we can check with you if something looks incorrect.

RighTs –

For all works we publish Spare Parts Lit will acquire First Electronic Rights and Non-exclusive Archival Rights.

All other rights remain with the author.

If you reprint your piece in a book or anthology, all we ask is that you mention it appeared here first.

We ask that submissions made to us be previously unpublished material [acceptions can be made if the work has since been removed due to magazine closure or if the work has significantly changed since publication - please email to discuss].

 

Should your work be accepted elsewhere while under our consideration, we ask that you shoot us an email to let us know that we've missed out! (We'll still be grateful to have been on your shortlist and very happy to congratulate you on your exciting news!)

Your work is your own, so should you wish to withdraw your submission at any time before publication you have every right to do so and we will respect your decision unwaveringly.

​

At Spare Parts Lit we believe that everyone has a voice and we do not believe in discrimination, we will therefore not consider any work which we deem to be offensive to any race, gender, ability, orientation or creed.  We also would ask that gratuitous sex and violence be kept out of our inbox.

We do not charge submission fees & we cannot pay our contributors.
